Bar & Hospitality Supervisor
Location: Rocket Padel, Battersea Power Station, SW11 8DQ . Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
Salary: Competitive
Full-Time Position: Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Rocket Padel is a growing business. Since 2018 we have been on a mission to create the most fun, open, and social exercise community for everyone. We have established and operated more than 100 courts in Scandinavia, and in 2023 we successfully opened our first venue in Bristol. We are now continuing our expansion by opening London’s first premium indoor riverside Padel venue!
Rocket Padel Battersea Power Station (BPS) hosts 4 premium indoor courts, café, lounge, pro-shop and changing facilities. We have exciting expansion plans and are already seeking further opportunities with sites across the UK.
Your Mission at Rocket Padel
We are seeking a passionate and skilled culinary professional to take charge of our food and bar operations. This individual will lead the kitchen area, create fresh, high-quality meal options for members and guests, and uphold rigorous standards of food safety and health. The role is central to providing a premium, memorable experience for our high-profile clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Operations
- Take a leading role in all aspects of the food and beverage operation, ensuring exceptional hospitality, service, and high-quality offerings.
- Work closely with the F&B Manager to develop and deliver a fresh, seasonal menu that reflects Rocket Padel’s premium brand, with a strong focus on flavour, presentation, and consistency.
- Collaborate with the F&B Manager to introduce innovative menu items and host promotional events that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Oversee supplier relationships, ensuring efficient procurement, budget control, and consistent quality.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of all food and beverage areas at all times.
Food Health & Safety Compliance
- Maintain and enforce the highest food safety standards, adhering to Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene protocols.
- Lead the team in upholding HACCP standards and implementing robust food safety procedures across all processes.
- Conduct regular audits, checks, and documentation to ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Manage and monitor stock levels, ensuring timely ordering and application of the FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
- Track inventory accurately to prevent shortages, overstocking, or waste.
- Oversee waste management procedures to ensure efficiency and minimal environmental impact.
Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise and mentor kitchen and bar staff, providing training on food preparation, beverage service, hygiene, and customer care.
- Foster a positive, motivated, and collaborative team culture.
- Implement and monitor daily cleaning routines and checklists to maintain consistently high operational standards.
Host & Club Support
- Greet and engage with members and guests, ensuring they feel welcome, valued, and well looked after.
- Maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Support with court bookings, equipment rentals, and general inquiries.
- Ensure club presentation and service standards are consistently maintained.
Role Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in bar operations, chef or food service role within a premium hospitality or club environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance (Level 2 Food Hygiene required; Level 3 preferred).
- Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with a passion for food innovation, creativity, and customer experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment.
- Experience in event planning is an advantage, along with a genuine passion for sports and the padel community.
